Open since May 2006, Agnantema is one of the most traditional restaurants in Rio serving fresh quality food, next to the West Quay. "Agnantema" is overlooking the Gulf of Patras and the Bridge of Rio offering dining and numerous guests a unique experience. The space neat, bright, with white tiled tableclothes. Protagonist of course is the good traditional food and seafood. Raw materials always of fine quality such as fish from Patras and meats from Nafpaktia. The menu and wine list wisely designed. Try the rich variety of sea anchovy, sardine, octopus and grilled shrimp and of course fish of the day (grouper, seabass, red mullet). The pork served at the restaurant is organic. Try the fabulous Steak (1kg a piece)! Pork chops from Agrinio, beef fillet, lamb ribs and traditionally grilled pork chops. Try also the wonderful flavors on the spit like Souvlima, Pork from Gkravara, lamb and pork. Finally, depending on availability you may find great specials such as rooster with pasta, deer with mushrooms, artichokes Goat and Wild boar stew.
